cozmeesah
Really? I figured it would be less because both of of the teams rub people outside their fan bases the wrong way. I'm outside of both fan bases and nothing about Seattle bothers me. They seem pretty harmless IMO. I love how this post turned into a "let's bash all sports America & Canada like" fest. Real mature. James
Just because you do it doesnt mean EVERYONE does. As I said, many songs today are some of the BEST selling songs of all time - like Fancy, which was released last year. Can a song get that status if everyone rips it? NO. It comes from legal downloads. And if EVERYONE pirated, thered be no Redbox, Netflix, Amazon, Itunes or movies on cable. Why would these companies pay for the rights to these movies if everyone was getting them for free? I love how everyone who isnt American keeps commenting when I said America is corporate... Man we're ofd topic. Im sorry Tele, they baited me. Very few songs today sell that much. One or two a year. And it's a wonder songs still sell considering the albums sale in the US market collapsed in the last few years. http://www.statista.com/statistics/273308/music-album-sales-in-the-us/ Edited February 1, 2015 by James

MrPink
I'm going to be bold but Prince topped Michael Jackson's Half-time performance that night. I mean when Purple Rain started, rain was really pouring on the stadium which was glowing purple, wow, I shed a tear at that perfect unique moment. The only reason I don't go that far is because MJ literally started off his show by standing for 2 minutes...and got away with it. That is amazing

Jandrew
I said songs James, not albums, but im getting back on topic. PM or go to the CC and ill debate American habits. Anyway, even with all the flops, Sniper was strong enough and pulled January over $1B! Bigger than July 14. Good way to start of 2015.

BK007
You can ripp songs of Youtube. Movies are on torrents. So I don;t get this pay for everything thing. It's simply stupid. When you show no respect for the artists' work, there will be a time when there is nothing for you to listen to or watch, or read, or see, or do. Deep Wang
Oh, please, spare me the righteous attitude. What's righteous about it? Let's see you make something and watch as millions of people enjoy it for free. I'm 100% positive you wouldn't think the same way.

Rudolf
Hell if I know. I'm still trying to figure out why Greenland, which is mostly ice, is called Greenland, and Iceland, which is mostly green, is calle Iceland. Or how we park on the driveway and drive on the parkway. I've been to Iceland and flown over Greenland. All the parts of Greenland I saw, were pure ice. In Summer with white nights (bright day light at midnight) most of the island was green. But as far as I know those land were named by the explorers who first visited them (during recorded history that is) and they called, what struck them most. I'm 100% positive you wouldn't think the same way. Remember I said its cost benefit analysis.. Should I follow the Golden rule or I should I get it for free? The issue is people make this a black and white issue but its very grey. Only way to solve is the continuing evolution of services like Netflix and giving customers great choice and value for buying entertainment. You don't stop people from doing illegal things through morally chastising people. It is because there is a cost to do doing such illegal things or there is a better alternative (going to jail/fines or better services like Netflix) Edited February 1, 2015 by Lordmandeep

Kvikk Lunsj
Oddly enough fighting in Hockey has really hurt the games popularity for non hockey fans in Canada. People ask why is there no fighting in the world cup, Olympics or Stanley cup games? Like I am turned off by the NHL as I find the focus on fighting makes it amateurish. There is not as much fighting as it use to be. There is argument that fight makes the game safer.
