Yep, and she really had to struggle to get where she is.  There's nothing wrong with being wealthy and all that she is but to flaunt it and speak the way she does is uncalled for and it's fucking annoying.

you overestimate everything though.

Lately no.

I underestimated Sniper's weekend gross by $32 million (Thought it could do $57 million 3 day). I said $24 million for Paddington - a little bit over. I predicted Chronicle numbers for Almanac - pretty reasonable. I was spot on for Black & White. Same with Boy Next Door. I also knew Seventh Son would do Mortdecai numbers and figured that Jupiter would go under $20 million.

I underestimated SpongeBob's eventual weekend gross by $10 million

Sorry, unlike Jupiter Ascending, audiences have been responding well to the trailers/commercials. Everyone I know who's seen a preview wants to go watch it. It looks like over-the-top, unpretentious fun. Sellouts for 50 Shades will gravitate some business towards it this next weekend.

With the positive buzz, Kingsman could keep February popping. A $35-40 million 4 day isn't that shocking. Especially since other Feb actioners have done similar (Safe House, Shutter Island, Ghost Rider, Daredevil, etc)

Does Gwyneth even care about acting anymore, though? She seems more interested in pushing her obnoxiously perfect lifestyle more than appearing in movies these days.

Basically. It's less that Goop has been put out to pasture than that doing Broadway or a Netflix drama would take precious time away from cleansing and steaming herself.

Nice rebound for Sniper and crazy to see a SpongeBob movie even more popular than it was ten years ago but the nostalgia angle makes sense.

When Penguins and Dragon 2 opened below expectations last year, there were some who said that their TV show hurt the movie but how can we explain Spongebob then which has been on the air for such a long time already

Gwyneth has always been annoying.  You can't tell me she didn't basically buy that Oscar.  Between the Weinsteins campaigning for her and her parents being who they are, that oscar was handed to her.  Now all she does is tell us how she spends $1000.00 a week on groceries and if you do too, you can look and feel like she does.  Annoying twat.

Awwwwwwwwwwwww <3

Black or White had a nice second week drop. I wonder what the budget is, it could be small-size hit for Relativity. It doesn't look expensive but Kevin Costner's talent fee though....

EDIT: Costner financed the movie and it costs 9M

The Spongebob fans were originally fans of the TV shows and the movies are a bonus... so you could say that the SB movies are a subsequent upgrade to existing characters whereas for Dragon and Penguins TV shows were a downgrade that hurt the characters. I think in these cases the order in which tv shows and movies were made is important.

Paramount Animation is off to a good start but I do wonder how they'll fare outside of established franchise like Spongebob, the fact Monster Trucks which is their next film to Christmas against Star Wars makes me think its a turkey. WB is the same as well but they have the advantage of owning such a vast of characters from their various libraries as well as Lego,

I learned recently that Jessica Alaba was uber rich because of some company she s invested in.

The Honest Company, a line of eco-friendly household and kid stuff. Like Jessica Simpson, she'll be incredibly wealthy without having to work in the profession that originally made her famous, ever again.

But a freshly steamed one...

I didn't know Redmayne existed even 3 months ago, and I figured out weeks ago that he was the screamy dude in JA. He's the new It girl apparently.

He's a very talented actor. I've seen him in quite a few things. He just really hit the mainstream with Les Mis.
