This is an actual statement regarding the decision to make this a simultaneous release. Hopefully this can ease you up a bit. The most interesting part in this statement, I think, is 'The way the consumers will experience the marketing campaign is that they'll be directed to theaters first and only later to Peacock'.

Could be because the fan base couldn’t be more online. But that’s still impressive.

250k likes on the instagram post, 400k for the poster on instagram. I wonder if the thinking behind day in date is maybe it’s audience don’t go out much? 😂

The day-and-date strategy is literally the one thing holding this back. There’s no reason for them to have done that unless they know it’s bad.

Unless Peacock manages to blow up in popularity in the next five months I don’t think that’ll hurt it. if anything the small amount of time it has in October will probably affect it more.
