Or Thursday should have been counted as a separate day. I mean, if DH2 had 7pm Thursday showings it would have been well over 100m by the end of Friday. And that was with 2011 ticket prices and a lower 3d share.... I don't think there is any way to know that. Those people going to the previews might have just gone during Friday day instead. The only thing that probably would be different is that it would have a bigger preview number, maybe OD if people went to see it again. It took four years for a film to top Potter, and only because of an extra five hours, and having a film that jumbles in many superheroes. Cheers. Movie breaks the OD record and may break the OW record too and the discussion is Potter's cultural significance? If only everyone loved it as much as you guys maybe it doesn't drop so hard Sat/Sun OW and, especially, that 2nd weekend. And, trust me, I wanted to see it break $400M DOM.
