Comparing Solo and Deadpool is absurd.  Deadpool only missed it by 5 mill.

The first one did only 71% on RT so anything near that is fine by me. RT doesn't accurately reflect the quality of a movie anyway,

Were people expecting a 90% score or something? I thought it would be doing good if it matched the first film's. Honestly I only think that the director is okay. Better than Trevorrow sure but that's easy to be.

This has got to be the most riveting RT watch in recent memory. This movie is soo close to the rotten threshold it's become a very tense situation.

Will reviews matter that much for this film? As long as it doesn't go as low as the 40s I don't think it'll have a major impact on the box office.

The trailers have been quite terrible so it's not that surprising. 

 

It amazes me how horrible some of these filmmakers are at eliciting old-school Spielbergian wonder. Abrams is the only guy who's been remotely successful at it. Nolan too but that's another discussion that I don't want to get into...

If Transformers can do it without a single fresh movie then JW 2 can easily make bank.
