This one it tough to gauge. This will have a gigantic Saturday with kids, but there are also many adults who rushed out last night. I am thinking $155 OW which is just incredible and beyond all expectation.

Tracking isn't correct all the time, though. It wasn't just tracking. 62 million views for the first trailer main upload on YouTube, opening by itself, nothing major opening over Memorial Day weekend for the first time in years, nothing massive opening the two weeks before, the marketing materials ignoring the two sequels and making people think only of the first film etc.

All stuff you can only point to in retrospect. Others would have countered that the franchise was tired and that they expected this movie to suck
