He is not supposed to be heroic, he is slimy, manipulative, coward. He is not depicted as a cool elegant master criminal like Hans Gruber or bad-ass militant villain like Bane whom the audience can enjoy or even admire. Eisenberg is supposed to be a nasal, pathetic loser with genius IQ, Hollywood's recent barrage of hate letter to the whole tech hype (drone, digital download, digital camera, surveillance etc) and also the arrogant Silicon Valley type.

What?Have you read the comics? Lex IS a cool genius type of villain and more times than one he was depicted more as an antihero too.He even join the Justice League after saving both Batman superman and the world. Lex is NOT a coward.

Not even the combined presence of three faves (Charlize! Emily! Jessica!) being catty with each other can drum up my interest in The Huntsman.

Thats the ONLY reason I'm even remotely interested lol

I'm starting to think 450 mill will happen by sunday WW....

How?  With $170m Dom it would need $280m O/S

It made $67.2m on Fri.  Minus China's $22m that's $45m

Wed Thur #s:  $48.1m

China: $55m projected (F-S-S)

=$103.1m

O/S - China would have to make $177m  off a $45m Friday (Good Friday)  That's a 3.93 w/e multiplier.

Again: This is NOT JL, It's BvS!

whole JL charachters are like 5% of this film, how can you say it's WB's version of The Avengers??

Its sort of in between. Marvel didnt try to pitch a movie on the basis of multiple heroes in the one film until The Avengers. WB have done that pretty early in the game. This is the first place you get to see Batman, Superman & WW. The flipside of using that as a draw IMO is that, unless you really draw people in with this film, you have less ammo later when you are trying to sell Justice League.

Forget about the comics. Bane is supposed to be a non-verbal grunt in the comics. The way Tom Hardy plays him, ranting about the corruption of the civilization, one may agree with some of the things he said, he could be an anti-hero of some sort, an airplane-jumping, tank-robbing blogger who gets off his ass and actually do something. Of course, his methods are way too extreme. Lex is a cool genius guy in the comic, but here Warner chooses an unambiguous take on the guy: He Is a Whiny, Pathetic Loser, not to be respected at all, not a cool mastermind villain. Probably worry about those parents who are complaining that too many comic book villains are more interesting than the good guys. LOL! Suicide Squad - freaks in goth cosplay playing heroes. Deadpool - a foul-mouthed hero with alternative lifestyle, jeez!! LOL! Superman is boring, so just let him....hahahaha!!

Maybe Bane is right, civilization is coming to an end.

Time for a reset, baby :

Wouldn't be surprised if Box Office Mojo made a showdown called "Biggest WB Movies" or something similar....showing their biggest hits like The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, Harry Potter: DH2 & Batman Vs Superman.

No that makes too much sense. BvS vs 300 is more likely.

420-430m is where this is headed for the WW OW. That first Friday OS figure is the second best ever, only after DH2. All in all that is an incredible number (4th biggest WW opening after TFA, JW and DH2).

Lex in this movie is manipulative , whiny?Don't think so, Pathetic?Still don't think so.

He has a God complex , which is true to his character, and he wasn't a coward even in this movie. If this exact script has been acted with more elegance, confidence and coolness it would have been a great take on Lex ( minus the going to jail from the first movie ) He was collecting Data on meta-humans , he already knows the identities of all the justice league.
