I wonder what course this charts for BVS going forward, with a bit more stabilization in its weekend decline. It's not seriously going to miss $350M is it?

$350m?  It's not touching $340m.   JB is taking probably all it's IMAX, PLF & 3D screens

With how fast and hard it's dropping, I don't see it making it to $340M, let alone $350M.

Jeez well if it is coming off a $23M weekend, it seems crazy it can't manage another $54M or whatever. I guess if it falls hard with losing its premium format screens, and next weekend only manages $10M, I guess that makes sense though. It's still crazy.

That would be a 3.34 multiplier off the w/e.  What in it's previous legs (without competition) indicates that could be possible?

You have to consider time zones here. Monday isn't close to over for most of us.

Yeah, but its evening in US now, around 3.30pm -6.30 pm, except for Alaska and Hawaii.

No summer weekdays and enormous competition in the upcoming week-ends tends to have that effect

In Australia BVS is struggling to make 30m at the moment. That's the equivalent of 300m in the US.

of more interest is the part opening of the jungle book (it's not officially reported because the official opening weekend isn't till the coming weekend). It made 3.44m in about 40% of the market. (Remainder of the market opens this weekend coming) good signs for a big opening I hope.

I remember it had an opening at par with F7, AOU, DP there? Those films I guess did 40m+ Australian dollars. So a similar ~2x multiplier there, just like US/Canada.
