Not really a "what if" case considering it was a $175m+ Dr. Dolittle film before extensive reshoots with a different writer and director on board, and it opens in January. It won't hurt Downey, but I don't see any scenario where it's a hit

30 bucks says RDJ's 'cameo' is just recycled footage or a deleted scene from Civil War, since this is a direct sequel to that. That'd explain why it's not reported as a big story, it's just old footage repurposed for this movie.
