Fifty Shades 572 1921 29.78%
Black Panther 2046 3808 53.73%

Black Panther just recently doubled its showtimes, and it's still trucking along. Shades is still doing well. Winchester just started selling tickets today, so it's too hard to say anything yet, although it should be noted Thurday and Friday are the only days with sold tickets.

Winchester 19 1408 1.35%
Fifty Shades 591 1921 30.77%
Black Panther 2254 3808 59.19%

Winchester barely added tickets from Thursday and Friday. Still nothing from Saturday or Sunday. Panther got one or two more sold-out shows.

Has there been a press showing for Winchester?

Double Toasted isn't reviewing it on their show tonight, so there's either a Friday embargo (they break Thursday embargoes one night before fairly often) or no screenings :hahaha:

This is weekend thread material, but might as well post it here: http://deadline.com/2018/01/sxsw-2018-south-by-southwest-features-lineup-john-krasinksi-a-quiet-place-1202274955/

This year's five SXSW headliners are A Quiet Place, Blockers, Boundaries, Paradox, and Final Portrait. High profile films from the past few years for comparison:

2017:

Baby Driver: 107.8M

Atomic Blonde: 51.7M

The Disaster Artist (work in progress): 20.9M

2016:

Sausage Party (work in progress): 97.7M

Keanu: 20.6M

2015:

Spy: 110.8M

Trainwreck: 110.2M

Ex Machina: 25.4M

This bodes extremely well for A Quiet Place at least

Bridesmaids also famously debuted there to off the charts reactions with everyone saying it was gonna be the surprise smash that summer.

While I'm at it, Sundance surprise screenings (Tully was this year's):

Get Out: 175.9M

Eddie the Eagle: 15.8M

Jupiter Ascending: 47.4M

Nymphomaniac: 1.1M (both parts)

Those four average out to 60.1M. Given Tully's reviews, I'd at least bank on it falling between Eddie and Jupiter
