With that preview range $85-105 looks good.  I don't see the multi being 8.46 which is what it would need to hot $110m even with $13m previews.

Here is wednesday count. Seems to be selling more. Reviews having some effect. A couple of smaller vips close to sellout but other than that im personally getting a wom/wait and see vibe right now.

This is not the complete data as @Porthos said sellout shows are removed from the showlist. Empire 25 has 9 shows removed while Lincoln Square has 2 removed. So actual number of tickets sold would be 10/20% more. Still it gives us some perspective. I am thinking its gonna at least double if not more from this point till tomorrow release. I will take final update tomorrow night to confirm numbers.

So LA has higher % sales while there are more plexes in NYC larger metro area and so has higher sales overall. Cant wait to see how SW9 does in these regions. Of course data will be warped if it has insane level of sellouts.

Another big increase from yesterday. This time it was pretty even with what IT 2 did on the same day. Still nothing in Denver that would indicate double digit previews to me, even when guesstimating the adjusted comps. I don't think the adjusted comp would even be hitting 9M right now. But I'm not counting out double digits yet. IT 2 had a huge jump over the last two days. I think Joker can go even bigger.

(I have decided to use WJ exclusively to track the suburbs from now on, and not just focus on the PLFs, but all the screenings for a particular movie.)

 

Big, big day in Salt Lake. Tickets sold in SLC and West Jordan increased from 49 yesterday to 83 today, an almost 70% bump. Comps are shooting up and are all above OW $90 now except for Pika and IT which are approx $70 and $64, respectively. Fridays are selling great as well, with the prime evening shows in SLC closing in on 80%.

These sales are really, really, really frontloaded. Estimated nationwide sales for Thursday are now at $6.7 million, a bit less than half of TLK's estimated $14 million at the same point. $11-12 million would be my guess for previews now, but true Friday may be less than double that, maybe $18-20 million.

Lincoln Square wants to go over 20M so badly.  I'm like, No.  Who do you think you are? Frozen? 😇  Joker's T-1 sells are basically tied with Lion King.  Very impressive run here. 

 

Cinemagic's feels more grounded with a 8.6 to 10.8M range.

 

In a fun second act twist, Dark Phoenix -- the only consistent comp -- has turn into an outlier at both theaters.

 

We'll know tomorrow.
