Then why did I get a blank warning in the system last week but not for my first two thread bans?

Because we hadn't standardized thread bans yet. Now we have.

Who knew Transformers would be the movie to lead to most bans.

Because of that you guys from now on are getting zero point warnings to see the bans which will be registered in your accounts instead of these simple bans. So thank him for that lmao.

Not the first time an Australian ruined something for everyone. And it won't be the last.

Perlmutter is worth 4 billion (just looked him up on wiki).

How did Heaven Feige win that fight? :worthy:

Marvel Studios has earned $12 billion under Feige's guidance. He has more than enough clout with Disney to push Perlmutter aside.

Lol, nobody plays Pokémon for the mythos.

But the Ultra Beasts are secretly the spawn of Yog Sothoth and will despoil the land of men unless they're all destroyed!!1 To kill them is my great quest, to annihilate them is my cause!

Oh, you know you'll be howling about how Detective Pikachu ruined the Pokemon mythos in a couple of years. Embrace the hate, young padawan.

No, I won't because I recognize that it's a fucking video game adaptation and I won't give a shit about it "ruining" some nonexistent mythos.

You're literally complaining about an adaptation of a Hasbro toy too.

Interestingly Minions is going to be the best comp for Spidey.

It also opened in July with a similar ~116m ow.

That it was front-loaded for an animation and did 2.9x is what makes it a great comp for a CBM with good wom.

It fell 57.4% in 2nd weekend and 53.5% in 3rd weekend. Still did 2.9x thanks to July weekdays (and later recovery).

So even if Spidey falls close to 60% in 2nd weekend and close to 55% in 3rd weekend, 2.7-2.8x cannot be ruled out. Such is July/August.

So you're saying you have zero standards for the series you consume?

Speaking of an amazing run, my wife just asked me out of nowhere to take her to see WW (for the third time) this week before they take it out of the movie theater.  Dear lord, she is really into this movie specially since she is not into SH movies at all.  I took my 16 yo son to see Spidey on Friday and she had zero interest in going and I asked her numerous times to go with us and still she refused :-( .  What really surprised me apart from how much she loves the WW movie is that she is also extremely hyped to see JL (because WW).  And the greatest part of this whole thing is that she actually read her first comic book ever (she is 41 yo) and it was the great Greg Rucka's WW Hiketeia story and she fell in love with comics.

No, I'm saying that it's easy for me to ignore a bad movie instead of being blinded by hate for something so minuscule.

I think the only time I was legitimately frustrated with a movie was the BATB remake, and even then I got over it after about 4 days.  I still hated it, but it was passive rather than being actively angry at it.  You, on the other hand, can't seem to let it go with your favorite toy action figure you played with as a kid and are mad that Michael Bay isn't making your favorite movies with your favorite toy.

At a 12 screen after it gets a 20% RT score...sure it is...

You have no idea how this actually works.  Theaters will have already booked their prints long before any RT score comes out.

Good point. If SM:H survives Apes+Dunkirk+Valerian, then it can have long legs through August and reach $350M+.

So 1 movie vs a decade long series that whizzed the franchise down the toilet.

"Fair" comparison I guess.
