I think the Sunday estimate for THB is whats keeping it under 22 million. Obviously we don't have any numbers right now but it will go up a bit on Sunday.

That's a fairly eh expansion for Good Time. Wind River and Ingrid Goes West are sucking up all the indie buzz.

Good Time is DOA. No two ways about that. It is only in 20 theaters and the PTA is like 8500.

Any weekend numbers for Ingrid Goes West?

Wonder Woman may have beaten SM1, DOM-wise....but it hasn't topped it WW-wise, yet.

Spider-Man 1 is at $821M WW, and Wonder Woman is $21M away from getting there.

I think that's definitely happening. Japan + remaining DOM should put it at $825+ mil. How much farther depends on if it breaks in Japan, which seems likely to me given its marketing. I'm super impressed by WW.

Don't start moving the goalposts now, Wonder Woman beating SM1's Worldwide never mattered.

150m official dead for Apes. 145m more likely

Yep it's not going to reach 150M. Very sad, I really didn't see this coming. :(

And overseas it's even worse. Hope China can save it from oblivion.

I agree with Baumer that the Sunday drop for THB is kinda high. I think it drops about 20-22% instead of the 27% Lionsgate thinks it will.

Last year War Dogs dropped 16% on Sunday. THB looks like it held better on Saturday (it's just estimates) so I don't think THB will hold 16% but I think 20-22% is manageable which would be good enough to get THB to $22M

I think it's too low actually. The past few weeks have seen Sunday drops all be in the 35% range thanks to GOT mainly I think. Which is why all movies are estimating around that number.

It's pretty much Annabelle or bust for this

Annabelle won't do it unless it pulls some epic legs for the next two weekends and some crazy drive in bumps from IT.

Thanks for this!

I had no idea about that. Makes sense as to why most studios have their movies dropping that much then.
