Quick and dirty comp gave me 91M. I haven't gotten out of bed yet so you can live with that.

Feeling pretty good about this number I pulled out of my ass. I actually calculated previews at 13M as well. Go me.

Hes horrible at extrapolating. Itll do really well late night.  90 minimum imo.

There's no question it's doing incredible at night. It's those matinee shows that are somewhat of a question mark.

He tweeted this 15 minutes ago, so he probably has a pretty decent idea at where tonight will land unless the west coast absolutely explodes.

If Pennywise survives part 1, will they cast an adult Pennywise along with adult actors for Part 2. If they do, I have a suggestion as to who they can cast

Keeping it in the family

I'd suggest Alex Skarsgard then, but yes keep it in the family

This is not going to be frontloaded. Not with this level of word of mouth.

The only question is whether the hurricane will effect weekend. I'm wondering if the film will have a better than usual 2nd weekend drop due to hurricane?

There were about a dozen kids at my showing who were somehow unsupervised early in the morning on a school day right in the city center. I sometimes wanted to yell at them to shut the fuck up but their shrieking at the jump scares was often more enjoyable than the movie itself.
