Teen Titans Go! to the Movies | WB | July 27 2018 | Animated movie

Recommended Posts

Help me out here, never saw it, never heared of it before. Is this another "My Little Pony" with a loud, but small, adult fan base, pushing it in a forum?

There is no loud adult fanbase.
The show is mostly aimed at toddlers and elementary age kids.

This thread has 19 pages of Fanboy-postings, most probably no toddlers. That's why i'm asking. This thread makes it look likes it's hyped up, but it's only here as far as I can see.

What a strange way to look at it. 19 pages isn't exactly a record here.

By posting in this thread (at least twice), have you become a Teen Titan "fanboy" trying to "push the movie" too?

It's recordbreaking for a movie, supposedly directed at toddlers.
Again, that's why i'm asking.

Is this two hands full of DC Fans interested, or is there really broader appeal by adult crowds.
I'm asking to understand the BO potential, not to start a fight ar criticize people posting here.
It's just for science.

The page count is actually one hundred times those pages for this thread. The mods had to hide the remaining pages so as not to embarrass the other big franchises threads.

lmfao, box office predictions isn't a science

Of course it is. Tracking is science, tracking Trailerklicks for comparable movies, tracking Twitter-Activity, Facebook fans etc.

Interpreting it the right way is the definition of science.

I can see it now; this movie will most likely get a higher score on Rotten Tomatoes than JL, and people will never let DCEU fans live it down.

They tried to do this with Lego Batman and BVS, and Lego Batman ended up bombing at the box office

Lego Batman, like BVS underperformed but also made a healthy profit. $310M on a $80M budget is solid for WAG. Also Lego Batman was a good movie.

I can still see a $25M/$80M run so Spongebob 1/Emoji numbers. This is Cartoon Network’s Spongebob. That being said for a traditional animated film and the fact outside of 2/3 of the Lego franchise and Happy Feet, Warner doesn’t do well with animation and this will make a profit even with a $15M OW.
