decided to give in and watched Bird Box. Call me crazy, but i quite enjoyed it

I saw Paddington 2 today, and unsurprisingly it’s just as bad as the predecessor. Boggles my mind people like it so much to put it in their top 10.

definitely one of the weaker black mirror episodes. it's more video game than movie. the interactive element i think makes every scene feel like video game cutscenes which are just harder for me to get invested in. plus the story was pretty basic. not much to it other than being meta.

Bird Box is pretty blah outside of Bullock’s performance. If it weren’t for her a doubt most people would’ve ever bothered to check it out at all, let alone in such massive numbers.

I enjoyed Bird Box quite a bit. Sandra Bullock is fantastic here (as are the other main characters). My only major gripe with it is the movie sometimes feels pretty cheap. Not necessarily talking about visual effects or stuff like that here, but it’s more like the cinematography sometimes feels like a run of the mill TV show.

Australia’s batting has been terrible. I don’t think anyone has told them that in Test Match Cricket you don’t need to hit every ball.
