@Avatree — saving someone from killing themself is a good thing. You did good. I’m sure it’s incredibly traumatic too, and I’m not surprised you suddenly had a huge release of emotion afterward. If at all possible, see if there’s a therapist or some sort of trauma specialist you could talk to.

Watching Sausage Party on FX on demand right now. It's so heavily edited it's hilarious.

And apparently the MA version is only partly censored as they kept Bagel's line: "Mashugana C***". No F bombs tho.

 

The orgy scene is still there but butchered to hell. To the point where part of it just has a black screen that reads: "CENSORED"

 

This has to be the most Frankenstein tier TV edit job I think I've ever seen. I expected this though, I'm surprised it made it to basic cable in the first place.

Thanks. I don't know why I needed people to tell me that, I knew I had done the right thing. Went to work today but couldn't concentrate so went home. Feel calmer now, and I have a jam-packed weekend so lots to keep me occupied. Think some world of warcraft classic is in order to take my mind off things right now...

At least my friend is safe which is all that matters.

Though it is worth pointing out that the Thursday result was a bit of a letdown. 13.1% / 26.7%. With that being said, if Na Corda Bamba does that kind of numbers on premiere, that's incredible for its standards

The MPAA says we have to remove the shot of your foot in order for Telegram to get an R instead of an NC-17.

To put in context, in 2019 dollar the question would be:

 

Would you pay between $2,500 to $5,000 to gain the opportunity to pay $22.50 to rent a movie ?

 

$3,50 was more than a pair of ticket to the movies, most household were making less than $9,200 a year in 1971.

 

I would imagine the result were a bit over enthusiastic , I doubt that nearly 12% of household had them at those price tags, it took from 1975 to 1987 to reach a 50% penetration of VHS.

1979: 0.5%

1980: 1.1%
