Last year 4 movies in the top 10 jumped more than 20% with 27% being the biggest jump. All 4 dropped 47-53% on Sunday.

Interestingly, out of Daddy's Home, Bad Moms and Kingsman, K2 will show the least drop from the predecessor by far:

K2: 100m, -22% from K1's 128.3m

DH2: 90m, -40% from DH1's 150.4m (Needs 117m+ to fall -22% from DH1)

BM2: 75m, -34% from BM1's 113.3m (Needs 88m+ to fall -22% from BM1)

Have gone optimistic on DH2 and BM2 to make the point. But even if DH2 and BM2 do more than my estimates they won't match K2's drop.

Nice totals. But Kingsman will make in the $100-$101 range. $102 would be nice.

Daddy and Moms will depend on their later legs. Keep in mind this holiday season is very sexy in the legs department(and no not Mila’s or Gal Gadot’s) but longetivity since Thanksgiving, and the first two weekends are dead. But are good for the marketplace.

Great increase for Thor. DS fell by nearly 40% on Sunday due to the holiday effect. Thor will take a similar tumble too, perhaps a bigger one given that its jumps on Fri/Sat were higher. Conversely it could hold better than DS for precisely the same reason.

Btw Thor is doing great in China too. Heading to a phenomenal drop (by China's standards) this weekend

This is great. Thor 3 going over 300M is nuts when you really think about it. Who thought that would happen after TDW?!

Just awesome. Taika is a beast.

Since TDW? Not many people.

Since Hulk was added and first teaser released at the start of the year? Most people lol.

Thats not true. About 50% people thought it would do less than 300 as per this club

But I thought nobody went to the movies anymore other than for the blockbusters and the comic book movies and save the rest for Netflix.

Yep, best thing about this weekend is the wrench it throws into that awful narrative.  Things really seemed to "turn on.". I went to my mall theater yesterday and it took 15 minutes to park for the theater level.  Haven't had to deal with that for a while...
