Trailer looks alright. But oh Sony you say you don't need Marvel anymore except when you're happy to use their success for your films. Guess I was expecting maybe for them to connect it more to Venom first.

I'm a bit disappointed. This looks just as much a straight-up early-2000's origin story, with little imagination as Venom, but seems to be missing the insanity of that movie (mostly down to Hardy). Not bad, just...meh.

Hoping the next trailer is better.

Yeah but if I were Feige I'd still be upset about these movies having any connection to the MCU. 

 

I did love Venom so I might give this a chance, but this is how MCU's timeline gets fucked up like the X-Men did (it would've at some point anyway)
