Just saw Jumanji. That movie is way more fun than I expected, plus its been a LONG time since Jack Black really killed it in something.

Its going to have great legs.

It seems like the Ghostbusters reboot, didnt really bring anything new to the table and thats why it failed. Jurassic World had the park actually open and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle let players into the game world. I dont think those crossovers will work; it seems like the concepts/novelties are what is attracting people rather than who are cast.  They need to come up with something new if they reboot MIB, perhaps the agents go to an alien world to solve a case, and they are the actual 'aliens' who are being hunted down? I dunno. 21 Jump Street doesn't gel with that franchise.

tbh, GB reboot seemed more interesting to me than JW and Jumanji2 when I first heard of them and even after initial promos. Wanted to see the chemistry of the cast in GB2016 and it could have worked very well (O8 will make it happen I feel as far as 'reboot IP with all female cast' thing goes).

I can totally see talented directors like L&M merging JP and MIB worlds. Sometimes feel that ideas seem effortlessly creative vs forced to be different for the sake of it, only in hindsight after we have seen the execution.

So....15% bump for 20+ Sat. IMO it will happen. SING never had a 20+ day. JUMANJI after a smaller start will get there. Also 185+ cume vs SING's 180+ cume by Monday. Will be surprising if the dom falls below SING's 270.

SW8 hitting 3x for 660 and beating Titanic, and JUMANJI hitting 300 are gonna be fun to follow. 2017 BO fun not gonna end any time soon.
