McAvoy was better than Kaluuya, and I don't really think that's a hot take. Kaluuya gets props for an amazing accent and those eyes, but the character of Chris doesn't have much range. That's not a criticism btw.

mcavoy was all flash. no substance or inner life to that performance. i know it's typical for young people to be more impressed by such obvious extremes though. making it look easy is more difficult.

honestly expected way more from mcavoy after the way that performance had been hyped. only like 4 personalities get prominent airtime and he's kinda just ok at all of them. ATJ was better!

They kept yapping on about 23 personalities and they show, what, 6?

there's like one scene where ATJ looks on his computer and we get a bunch of clips that just look like a mediocre acting demo reel.

aabattery may be like the J-Law of the BOFFYS, a younger actress coming for all the glory (except when she’s in an Aronosky film)

More like I'm the Chalamet. Gonna lose to a bunch of old men.

I think I'm probably the Denzel Washington of the year.
