I hate The Predator so much. Such a bad movie. Otoh, it made me watch the original again and reminded me why i love it.

Hum seem like potential to make a good apparition on that list:

55.97m or under to make the top 40 seem safe to achieve it.

The flag's in the movie. In fact, there are probably about 4 or 5 different shots of the flag. Moron trolls are only upset because it doesn't painstakingly show the flag being planted on the moon because Chazelle decided a character arc was more important than a flag.

The "character arc" argument is one I might not agree with but I would have seen the film and seen for myself how it was handled.

But when Gosling said this wasn't an American achievement is when I decided to wait until it comes on TV.

Chazelle had a near perfect movie on his hands in La La Land and then nose dived the ending. So I have questioned his judgement ever since. First Man looks both great but boring AF. How do you make one of the most exciting stories in all of human history look so stolid and dour. Fast losing my faith in him.

American exceptionalism doesn't exist and never did. We are a deeply racist and sexiest Country that believes that ignorance is a virtue and unfettered capitalism is a good thing. We elect and defend an ignorant racist reality TV star sitting in the oval office. We succeed solely because we are the biggest bullies on the playground. Depriving yourself of a movie because of some fantasy about how amazing America is is hilarious.
