Tickets aren't actually on sale, for the record. Nowhere that I can see locally, at least.

 

As I surmised in the Tracking thread, I think Marvel accidentally set the wrong time for a scheduled tweet when it set the date. Or more likely, didn't set a time at all and only set the date.

 

Seems the most likely scenario given the tweet happened at exactly Midnight, Pacific Time.

FTFY, Fandango hasn't tweeted anything that I can see, this is from the Marvel and Shang-Chi twitter accounts. It's still likely the same scenario you lay out but just a different company at fault.

It's interesting.

 

People in the west are used to having older black, brown and asian characters reworked as time goes by and franchises get exploited. The characters were created close to the end of segregation so nobody really bats an eye when aspects of Man-Ape and Luke Cage get changed decades later. I'm guessing this doesn't really happen much in China.
