5th Update Sunday AM: DreamWorks Animation/Universal’s How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World came in at $55.5M per studio figures this morning after a $22.4M Saturday that was +28% over Friday. Despite being lower than industry figures yesterday morning that opening is one to be proud about: The best debut in DWA’s Dragon franchise and the second best opening for an animated film in February after The Lego Movie ($69M).

@IronJimbo I completely understand if you want to wait another week or two to reconcile our bet.  There's no rush!

I really liked The Lego Movie 2 but I think much like the previous films, the humour doesn't translate OS apart from the English speaking countries.

No, I think the Sunday drop will be worse. The Monday drop was worse than estimates last weekend. Don't think many people want to watch Alita the night before the work day starts. I feel like the actuals will be around 11.8 mil.

I don't know what Alita's final weekend number will be but I doubt it hits 13mil. Just because I doubt something, of course, doesn't mean that it won't happen.
