TwoMisfits
Some people didn't wanna wait for the weekend with the Atom TMobile deal:)...It started yesterday, so I'm not surprised with these "not huge" weekday numbers that you'd see enormous jumps... Remember, $5 discount day minus $5 off plus no fees equals free tickets for many...a lot of subscribers would jump that way, at least enough to give bigger than average increases to everything (since those ticket values would still "count" since Atom/TMobile/some 3rd party was covering the $5)... vafrow
Aladdin only dropped 2.2% over last week. I'm thinking that it must be benefitting from Lion King hype and marketing.

This is disney plan all along, they will get Avatar and EG as close to each other in total gros as they can. Then every release of either Avatar or EG will give them a new headline with 'DISNEY BROKE THE ALL TIME BOXOFFICE RECORD ONCE AGAIN'. 1

Avatar was one movie and didn't have 22 movies backing it as a finale. Plus the China expansion is the only thing that got it where it was. If Avatar has a re release which it'll happen, say bye bye to the record MCU fans went out for 10 times. Endgames upcoming record will be the most manufactured in history. Feige and stars of the movie had to campaign for it lol. Endgame was corporate fanfare, Avatar was art but proceed to say it was only 3D despite there being dozens of 3D movies out at the time lol. Wait? Corporations involved with... Oh, yeah. This war is so goofy. Brings out dumb in everyone. Edited July 17, 2019 by JohnnyGossamer
