Nope, not summer and not a holiday and perfectly inline with R rated adult film behavior in October. It could even be a tad too nice.

nope actuals should be at least $120m

Lol. My post said “genuine”. But go off.

How does saying the word genuine make it any different? If he didn't have"genuine hopes" or didn't truly believe it, why would he make a club predicting something he didn't think would happen? This makes no sense.

There's a lot of criticism to Joker that the film has very little substance. Not sure how Deadpool could be seen as a less "adult" film than Joker. To each their own I guess.

Have you seen the film?

Deadpool is R-rated action comedy, it is the exactly opposite type R-rated movie to Joker.

And where you have seen that "a lot of critcism"? I can show opposite examples.

My main thought on Joker is that it was much more interesting as a deconstruction of superhero movies/stories than as any sort of statement on society or anything.

Ending at $234M total would be a decent run given the budget. :sparta:

It did way better than expected overseas compared to DL prediction:

Quote

Prebookings in Europe are phenomenal, with great word-of-mouth. All in overseas — save France, Germany and China among majors — the film should generate a $75M opening this weekend, give or take.
