San Fransisco and San Diego can open cinemas now. Don't know if they'll be ready by September 4th though.

By 1130 ticket sales at MTC are ahead of previews end yesterday. I wonder how the walks up will be. I think 3m friday would be great considering the current situation. Should be good enough for double digits OW.

honestly even if things were normal i wouldnt expect an ow of more than 20 mill

also

San Diego and San Francisco are among the 20 counties in California that can reopen indoor movie theaters with limited capacity beginning next Monday, according to state guidelines announced on Friday

so if these counties give permisson then the movie theaters there will be able to reopen which would be very good news

Have to say that this is awesome that we’re seeing such positive signs.

Having seen Tenet twice (I’ll see it again next week) I’m going to check out Mutants on Monday. A movie I was on the fence about seeing until moviegoing was taken away from us. Which kind of sums up what might be happening. People are desperate to go back to the movies.

New Mutant Previews

MTC1 - 14763/149903 ~176.5K (852 shows)

MTC2 - 8140/68539 ~97K (426 shows)

I am certain actual MTC2 numbers must be higher as its not possible for me to pull in shows after they are done. That said these numbers are not bad. I am thinking 500-600K previews.

New Mutants OD

MTC1 - 26485/318633  293K (1807 shows)

MTC2 - 27326/329682  296K (2176 shows)

I would say 2.25m OD including previews but I am not 100% sure. May be @charlie Jatinder can confirm from real time data

Oh. So $7m is off the table then. Unless it has the same multiplier as Unhinged from last weekend (3.3x).

3.3x its true OD still means 7 mil if off the table. Seems more like 5-6 mil to me. I think Tenet still has a chance to beat TNM this weekend.
