That $ number look low, but in US you have tickets almost par what you make with one hour of work in lowest paying work, in India, ₹200 is almost what you will make for that work in full day.

Simon Kinberg didn't want his shitty new film to be beat by an Indian film and paid off RRR's producers and distributors to move it.

Yeah, I don't think 355 will make more than 2million lol. 

 

Rhythm Section opened to 2.7m in Jan 2020 and that was pre-pandemic in 3000 theaters.

I just realized that The 355 could open to $3M and still possibly be the #3 movie of the weekend due to the overall dire state of the box office outside of two movies. The lower half of the top 10 is gonna be ugly each week for a while even if everything develops Greatest Showman-esque insane holds.

Interesting site but with results like that I'm not sure it's very useful for anything tangible (like box office).

That list also doesn't seem like it'll be of much help when some of the movies on it (Hotel Transylvania 4, Hocus Pocus 2) aren't coming to theaters at all.

Quorum has been posting stuff on Reddit for a few months. Their data is nice to see, but like all of this type of awareness/interest tracking, it's super noisy and hard to predict from.

Overall not stellar numbers of course but also not terrible. If it (halfway) stays on track I think it will do at least more than 3M OW.
