Better trailer than Furiosa IMO.

Completely agree.

Now, I'm not going to write Furiosa off or put a reminder on my phone to pre-order Kong x Godzilla tickets, but my interest in this film is currently higher than that of Furiosa.

EDIT: Also, that Tweet from the meme account has an abnormally low number of likes. The Tweet they made an hour before has 92k likes, and the Tweet they made an hour after has 33k likes.  That actually bodes pretty well for the film, since the meme account was trying to act like it was too cheesy.

IDK why people are acting like audiences hated GvK. The numbers speak for themselves. Even if you exclude China, it stilled outgrossed KotM, despite pandemic and day & date.

Excluding China, it's under KoTM.

Saw Minus One today. Loved it. Shame what a stinking bore this looks like just like the last two. A bunch of fantastical souless bullshit without an ounce of stakes or scale. Minus One is proof these movies don't have to be dumb garbage.

Will finish the first day with +10M views on US Warner channel on YouTube

Seems absolutely massive on Twitter and TikTok as well when it comes to engagement, and mostly very positive about it’s silly fun vibe

Very promising social media start indeed.

The movie imo has something going for it that many modern blockbusters lack: Unapologetic fun. Sure there are no real stakes and great writing is nothing one should expect from this, but if you just want to turn your brain off for 2 hours and forget about real world problems, theres probably not a better movie coming out next year for that kind of audience appeal. The trailer promises exactly that.

started watching the tv show last night. now 3 episodes in, really enjoying it, particularly the 1950s storyline.

and funny how one brief scene in a TV show is able to portray a better sense of massive scale than the last 2 movies.
