Claudio
Feels like China just trying to distance itself from USA culture at this point by banning some Hollywood movies for fun (and looking for any reasons whether it makes sense or not to justify it). Thanks to boiling situation between the two.

titanic2187
EEAO run during independence long weekend is truly impressive, judging from its daily trend. Not only it did increase over the weekend, EEAO beat out MoM too for number 8 position. EEAO increase 74% on Friday, and by right the Saturday bump should be softer, but that as usual 48% jump is the best among top 10. Just when you think that big Sat jump will lead to big Sun's drop, except it didn't. The -3% Sunday dip is again the best among all movies in release. Jul 1 Friday 8 $141,205 +73.8% -2.3% 607 $232 $66,604,388 99 Jul 2 Saturday 8 $208,512 +47.7% -3.5% 607 $343 $66,812,900 100 Jul 3 Sunday 8 $201,997 -3.1% +21.9% 607 $332 $67,014,897 101 Jul 4 Independence Day Monday 8 $122,409 -39.4% +24.1% 607 $201 $67,137,306 102 Jul 5 Tuesday 8 $113,744 -7.1% +11.2% 607 $187 $67,251,050 103 I am not sure how long can A24 hold the location for EEAO since this is their week 15 but at this rate, the movie should at least hit around $68m~$69m.
