Yep, some of those shows will be in 3D too. There'll also be early access shows for Ezra on April 28 and Back to Black on May 15.

Everything has EA these days it seems, pretty annoying from a tracking perspective

Seems like it's had minimal impact as far as spreading positive word of mouth goes, though I dunno, maybe a few positive audience tweets they can promote before the hard release are better than nothing

EA Comps:

1.93x Civil War EA: $630k

0.75 Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare EA: $450k

0.35x MI7 (T-3 EA): $700k

Maybe around $500k in Early Access, still doing very meh for Thursday previews but Monday EA makes it a little tricky, just hope it will accelerate quite a bit after tomorrow.

Minnesota Monday Early Access:

Challengers (T-1 hour):

Day: T-1 hour Shows New Sold Seats % Sold
Monday April 22 EA: 18 theaters 18 70 346 4044 8.56

EA Comps:

0.3x Dune Part 2 EA: $605k

0.57x Mean Girls EA: $400k*

0.35x MI7 (T-3 EA): $695k

*Using $700k estimate provided by Key a loooong time ago

Probably go with around ~$600k for early shows but as always fair warning that EA is more dependent on number of showings so data provided by Key is probably most useful

That's not good. Your T-10 Civil War run showed it sold 1321 tickets and 57 since yesterday. The Fall Guy, with all this marketing is going to fall behind Civil War sales tomorrow.

From what I can tell it looks the early access shows for Back to Back are only in Dolby Cinema, assume that was the only way it was ever getting those screens (since IF is likely getting those screens that weekend).

Challengers MTC1

Early Shows(4/22) - 14715/62070 307604.35 260 shows +2306

Previews(T-4) - 11715/243065 233167.37 1391 shows +2213

Friday - 11057/377245 211874.43 2118 shows  +2927

I could not run this yesterday and so its 2 days of data and I expect the pace today would be up quite a bit from yesterday. We will know with tomorrow's update. Definitely think potential is there for 20m OW.

Challengers MTC1

Early Shows(4/22) final - 18092/62617 373746.58 263 shows +3377

Previews(T-3) - 14715/272266 288951.39 1540 shows +3000

Friday - 14722/428870 278017.78 2375 shows +3665

Good for sure. Early Shows will skew MTC1 big time(looking at MTC2, gross wont be that much). I am thinking 550-600K for early shows. Previews should accelerate tomorrow if WOM from early shows is good. Thinking 2.5m+ previews including early shows and 20m ish OW.

Challengers isn’t doing great and Boy Kills World is nonexistent at my local theaters. The Fall Guy and Apes better pick it up soon too. Everything is on fire. I’m gonna go see BKW to help the weekend but I just can’t bring myself to watch the tennis cuck movie. Still hope it overperforms because it’s an original film but definitely not for me. Might go see GxK again too.
