GxK making $64M OW would be exactly double what the first GvK made, but I would think it would be more.

 

Dune 2 did twice what the first Dune made OW.

 

Doing twice of a first movie's OW seems to be the trend for well received sequels to movies released during the first years of covid.

I'm seeing $25.5M right now for true Friday. One more hour to go in Miami so $27M may not be too far off.

 

Dune 2 was at 14.5k at 9 pm and Godzilla is currently at 17.9k and is pacing way better in the few final hours

Uh actually it might not be good. I just remember other Sunday Easter drops being kind of steep. Also Monday isn't a Holiday for a lot of people

That Sony fudged the OW number to 45M. Charlie only had it at around 43M.
