See I thought it would be maybe a $30-40m OW until I saw the first trailer then I thought $50m but now I'm firmly in the $70-75m OW range.

Insane that it'll be both the highest September OW and the highest OW for a horror film. Also if JL breaks the November record then WB will have six of the 12 OW records.

Aside from a few duds (King Arthur), it's not been such a bad year for WB.

So no daily box office updated from Mendelson a la Wonder Woman?

Anyway, this is going to be huge. The 100+M OW predictions are very difficult but not impossible or ridiculous by any means.I think it will get close.Something like 85M.

I can place an accurate prediction but i do predict that it's going to be huge.Like 200M huge. And i also believe that the sequel is going to be just as big.f the first one is gpood enough and the success that it seems it will be then i can see the sequel attracting some big names to play the adult version of the characters.WB has a juggernaut waiting to happen here.

I read Mendelson's box office reports because he's one of the only pundits out there who does it regularly, but as a critic he tries way too hard to be the contrarian. Anyone who loved Snatched (but conveniently didn't write a review) but didn't like Homecoming or TFA seems a little suspicious to me.
