But I was told it will be a 5 day weekend which it certainly isn't if they are workdays. Sure, let Friday, Saturday, and Sunday be weekends but 24th and 25th aren't if they are workdays.

24th will be massive regardless of workday or not. China just like domestic, has a massive fanbase which will rush out to see it.

5 days weekend as in, its releasing on Wednesday (2 days) + regular FSS.

Thanks for clarifying to him. He is spreading this on r/boxoffice also. That Avengers Endgame is not having 5 day weekend. Weekend doesn't mean holiday for a country. It means the amount of money it has earned through first Sunday.
