People know what he looks like, and if you show them a picture they'll go, "Oh, the guy from Avengers." Most normal people know him now, since Ghost Protocol (his IMDb star during that time was number one, meaning people were checking him out) and even then, just because someone is extremely famous, don't mean that they are going to be a major box office draw.
