Good for Jason Lee. Or bad for Jason Lee because no one wants to work with the scientologist douche who just does those weak ass chipmunk movies. So he has to wait for the next chipmunk movie for a paycheck. So mixed bag for Jason Lee.

Because he gets to make money without trying hard. These movies suck and he knows it and you can tell by his performances. Families still go and see them, so he knows it doesn't matter how good his performance is.

Problem with Alvin 2 started right when the script was greenlit. Chipmunks in school? Df? Alvin playing FOOTBALL? Df? I thought it was shitty when Air Bud did it and it's shitty here. They were right in introducing the girls, but they should've came up with a better plot than them starting human school. I was a huge fan of the first, but the second I just couldn't.

 

That fact though that it still increased over Alvin 1 says how much audiences really didn't care, it's just me. And that's okay.

Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 was my favorite, mostly because of Zachary Levi. I found it the funniest.

Same. I only saw parts of the second one on TV one day while channel surfing and changed the channel two minutes after.

Loved it back then...don't love it nor hate it now.
