He really IS wolverine. He's a really good actor too. Seems to be capable of so much more than Wolvie. But he owns it. BTW, I just got back from Wolverine ... and I thought it was great outside a few issues towards the end. Definitely stay for the end credits scene as it was definitely worth it. Tony Stark is another but I don't think Marvel will recast Stark after RDJ is done. They will likely have someone else replace Stark as the next Iron Man.
