I feel like there is an inverse relationship of the rotten tomato score and this movies potential China box office.

I doubt the reviews will affect the boxoffice. All of the previous films succeeded despite their negative reviews. I don't see how this one will be any different.

It's probbaly gonna perform like the fifth Pirates movie. Lowest domestic grosses of the series, but insane grosses overseas ( China )

Not sure where this "insane" came from

 

POTC4 OS     $804m

POTC5 OS     will finish around $550m

 

That's a big drop.

 

Its gross in China $160m isn't something Disney would be very proud of either.

Seems like the AR shifts will be present in all regular screenings of this - which makes sense as Bay said, 90% of the film is filmed with the IMAX Alexa 3D setup.
