PDC1987
I want to see it. But I wish this came out sooner, so I would not pay $12+ plus. To see a movie. San Diego is going to expense to see a movie. Discount Tuesday.

Deep Wang
Yeah, it's only a little after 5, and this one has sold more tickets than every preview post Jurassic World.

If this is the case everywhere we'd be looking at 7m+ previews. I'm hoping for around 3-4m personally.

DAJK
Our theatre isn't getting this movie (at least this week) and today alone we've gotten 7 phone calls and 5 people doing our survey asking why. That didn't even happen when we didn't get Pacific Rim (according to my manager).

Seriously, what the hell is some of those clueless theater owners?

This film is being talked about everywhere and will blow people away with how big it's going to be. It's mainly our booker, whom my manager disagrees with most of the time. Just because Madea movies, Wedding Ringer, Get Hard, Ride Along all bombed at our theatre, out booker thinks its due to the fact that our town doesn't have the audience for movies with black leads; which isn't necessarily true at all. He should be looking at the individual movie rather than just who's in it.

Cmasterclay
There's some scenes where O'Shea Jr. looks so much like Ice Cube it's legitimately terrifying. It's almost like it's the world's most incredible special effect. Anyway, movie was great. Pacing was real off in the third act but it hits so hard and the energy and raw ruthless strength, much like in the the album itself, rises to the forefront. A great time. Jason Mitchell who played Eazy was INCREDIBLE every time he was on screen. I'm writing him in with a pen on my Boffies Best Supporting Actor noms. I don't see how that isn't one of the five best male supporting performances I see all year.

Ezen Baklattan
How was the crowds/sellouts tonight? I live near Detroit, and there's a theater where every show after 7pm tonight is sold out. There are 8 of them. The only films I've seen do that here are JW, AOU, PP2, and 50SOG.
