Not so Great.

(When compared to other Leggy Film on second Monday (Malef, 22JS, EOT, Dragon))

To be fair, it seems like Monday was lower than average for a lot of films.

The Purge continues his path above the first movie. Sunday was bigger and now Monday will likely be bigger as well.

The last one dropped 51% on the first Monday. The only problem was the continuous collapsing until Thursday. Lets see how this one does.

No, it's almost 2 million behind and only did $50,000 more in its initial second run expansion and with a slightly lower PTA than Spidey.

No way! After the OW, this is the only weekend where it has outgrossed ASM2. The gap is near 2M. ASM2 late legs are solid and, clearly, they're only pushing Godzilla to reach the 200M mark.

Also, the gap between Transformers and Cap is closing pretty quickly too. They're now only $2m apart, and with an onslaught of action films in the coming weeks, I'm not sure how well Optimus will stay afloat.

That is actually how a more family friendly film would play. Adult skewing films would have the stronger weekdays.
