filmlover
If it makes @Alli feel better at least Ansolo can claim to having the first official addition to 2019's This Had Oscar Buzz list? I dunno, I was kinda sorta starting to get numb to pretty much everything at the fall festivals so far either living up to the buzz or surpassing expectations like Hustlers has. babz06
Reviews are horrible, feeling sub-10m opening.

cannastop
Let's just hope Motherless Brooklyn also doesn't get savaged. Can't have the book adaption market dry up.
TestPattern
Who would have thought that, in the end, the Joker would be WB's Oscar movie?

It's at an 80 on Metacritic with 2 reviews and a 78% fresh with 9 reviews, so who knows?

Alli
Agh....the reviews!!!! It's Nicole Kidman's fault. She's a bad omen. Her theatrical movies are mostly flops. But she can't bring down A list Elgort. Next year WSS will be a huge success...both critically and at the BO.

She’s actually been on a roll recently until this came along. Goldfinch has a twitter moment this morning about how bad it is.
