Fuck that.  I want the entire recreation of the Bible with Transformers.  Make it a TV miniseries if you must.

Nope need some big budget effects.  And when that kills the box office...

Transformers: The Book of Mormon.  Sure, it's a spinoff.

Aw damn a movie you don't actually have to see is getting made? What a bummer.

I'm not saying it shouldn't get made because of people's hate against the franchise or anything but considering TF5 underperformed, spin off movies might not be a good idea

She's the little girl that famously cried when she got eliminated from The X Factor several years ago, isn't she?

edit: yep, she is.

Not surprised this would get made. After the tax-credits I don't think the budget will be above 130-140.

TF5 could end up with 135 dom + 230 China + 225 OS-China = 590 (2.7 * 220 prod budget)

Bumblebee could do 90 dom + 150 China + 140 OS-China = 380 (2.7-2.9x * 130-140 prod budget)

Combined with one or more of these factors would make the movie lucrative:

-auxiliary revenue, especially merchandising sales

-the movie's release bumping auxiliary revenue of previous TF movies (eg: bump in bluRay sales of old TF movies as new ones get marketed)

-the possibility of the movie being well received by fans of old TFs leading to one more movie

-the movie exploding in one market and showing steadiness in China by doing say 150+

So makes sense they are going ahead with this.
