superduperm
Was hoping SM2's record would finally go down. But this will do.
Jandrew
Called 25 on the nose. Which is cool because I know nothing about drops, I just randomly said 25. It sounded sexy.
jb007
Considering that this is June, it is an excellent number.

BoxOfficeZ
52% decrease. Pretty decent. EDIT: Isn't that the highest non-holiday Monday? Edited June 16, 2015 by BoxOfficeZ

keysersoze123
Ok. Not bad but not great either(sounds ridiculous considering its record breaking). Hope it stays flat on tuesday.

The Dark Rock
This could have been its Friday's number (excluding mid-night previews)
redfirebird2008
The 300 in one week dream seems to be collapsing. Best case scenario is probably around 295 but I think Damien's 290 number sounds about right. Everything is icing on the cake at this point if you're Universal. eXtacy
Guesses: 22 Tuesday 18 Wednesday 16 Thursday (290 week) 26 Friday 33 Saturday 28 Sunday (87 Weekend, 377 total) Seems reasonable, though I would have Saturday increase bit stronger

Everything is icing on the cake at this point if you're Universal. +1 Considering that most people had it grossing less than 300M for its lifetime gross, it is way beyond anybody had expected (including Universal I suppose) BTW, I think Universal is better than some others in achieving milestones by pushing. They had ET at $399.8 for almost 17 years (after its reissue in 1985)
cory
If it follows TDK from here out it gets ~$585M, but we won't know the ceiling until this weekend's numbers. Weekends should be higher than TDK because it's less adult-driven and earlier in the summer. Edited June 16, 2015 by cory
dxmatrixdt
hopefully Golden State finishes it off tomorrow, otherwise game 7 is on Friday.... (look for stronger Thurs #'s)
redfirebird2008
Of the top 10 in 4-day grosses, the average is 42% of final gross. That would put JP4 at $557m total.

No matter what it's gonna break the fastest to $250 million record by a day at 5 days, and even if it needs Friday to break $300 million it will break that record by a day at 8. The Sunday to Monday percentage drop is in line with the next biggest June openers.
The Stingray
Something like: 1st week: 80m 2nd weekend: 84m 2nd week: 31m 3rd weekend: 40m Total after 3rd weekend: 444m Total domestic gross: 536m Edited June 16, 2015 by The Stingray
The Dark Alfred
As much as I'd love a g7, I do hope GSW finishes, because I'm sick of this rubbish LeBron MVP talk.
