Everybody is to blame for the DCU's problems but Snyder...……..

That’s usually how it goes when someone is a fan of a director or actor. When a movie is a success the success is placed solely on that individual. When the movie isn’t a success, it’s suddenly everyone else’s fault but that individual. When the reality is that with film making you have to have different pieces of the puzzle come together to get a successful movie. All those pieces have to work in order for that to happen. A successful movie is never just the work of one individual. Just like a failed movie is never just one individual’s fault. Sure an individual could be contributing more to the success (or failure) of the film but it’s never just them. Not when there are so many people working behind the scenes.

Fans are not creating excuses. Zack Snyder delivered a 3 and a half hour Justice League movie. WB left 70% of that in the cutting room floor, and Joss Whedon filmed 80 pages worth of script for reshoots. Snyder can't be blamed for that, it was not his film.

Came here to say Watchmen just delivered the best episode of any comic book show ever and one of the best episodes of any tv show ever. Ain't no way the Emmys could snub such brilliance.

Might be the best hour of superhero media ever!

CW's Crisis hasn't aired yet!

lol yeah. It looks like utter garbage tbh. Can't believe legitimately enjoy it. :sadno:  In a post Watchmen world there are no excuses for sub-par TV!

Sad thing is that post-Watchmen all WB did was green-light 4 more Berlanti CW shows lmfao, two of them being shows based on Superman and Green Lantern. Yikes!

Jesus. They are letting the CW director do Green Lantern? I thought that was supposed to be connected to the "DCEU". WB is a hot mess.

except the Green Lantern show isn't on the CW? they announced it for HBO Max.  we can't judge how good it could be yet until they announce the writers/directors (and even then that's not much to go by) but at least it'll look pretty with how much they're spending.

They aren't (Berlanti isn't even the director of those shows). Green Lantern doesn't even have a showrunner yet.

I see. Either way CW shows stink!

Isn't the budget like 60 million? Seems low to me.

That's because people actually watch the Berlanti shows. Most of them have good to great reviews by the way.
