The numbers posted their weekly home video sales data. They run around 2 months in arrears but the latest data for Nov 25th is interesting because it's the first week of the Xmas sales where there is a huge spike.

 

Some interesting takes.. 

 

Deadpool2 is tops, selling double IW, even though they were released in the same week (nearly).

 

Black Panther is not in the top 30.

 

Wonder Woman is # 8 and topped IW even after 65 weeks in the chart.

It does have a few, but they are cast aside in favour of some untalented and annoying characters.

But surely the awards don't mean much. It's more PR than actual merit that counts there, otherwise Sheldon wouldn't have a ton of them for example.

 

Now the first season of GoT had some great production, but the writing has been abysmal. It cannot be called "great", put next to powerhouses like The Sopranos, The Wire, The Shield etc.

First 4 season of GoT were on some another level. Season 4 still remains the best TV season of all time. BB, MM, Sopranos, wire, all these have 1000 times better consistency and are much better shows overall but not even close to the peak of GoT.

It's always sunny is the best show of all time.

That is a great question, only TWD has come close in the last few years. But that show has faded recently whereas GoT only got more popular and acclaimed every season.

This is the Thanksgiving / Black Friday week.  It really depends on BF specials.  Look at the previous week to get a better picture of what is trending.

That would make sense, but previous weeks sales are 10 times lower on average.
