I bet the studio are hoping Revenant does big numbers. Budget alone is $130m.

Oscar bait now has a price tag.

Sisters is quietly headed to $80m+ that's 3 R rated female lead comedies that were big hits from 2015. (Trainwreck + Spy).

‘Star Wars’ Blasts Past ‘Iron Man 3’ at International Box Office

Star Wars: The Force Awakens” has passed a trio of titles — “Iron Man 3,” “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” and “Skyfall” — to take the 11th spot on the all-time international box office chart.

Disney made the announcement Thursday, a day after it trumpeted that the seventh “Star Wars” film had set a new record as the top domestic movie of all time, topping the $760.5 million record set by “Avatar.”

“The Force Awakens” took in $6.2 million domestically on Wednesday, its 20th day of release, for a total of $764.4 million. The international gross grew by $13.1 million Wednesday to push the total to $812.2 million — $6 million ahead of “Iron Man 3” and $10 million behind “Minions” for the 10th spot.

The worldwide total has hit $1.576 billion — just $100 million short of matching “Jurassic World” for third place on the worldwide chart. “Avatar” sit at the top with $2.79 billion, followed by “Titanic” at $2.19 billion.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens saw an overseas bump on Wednesday of $13.1M, topping Tuesday’s $13M take and bringing the offshore cume to $812.2M. RIP James Cameron

I for one welcome our new overlords.

Avatar and Cameron number one in the world.

SW7 future issue 2 or 3.

Titanic 135 million viewers in the US, SW7 finish at least 100 million.

The records are easier to beat in dollars.

Sisters is heading to about 95-100 million.  WOM is going to give this some very nice drops in the weeks to come.
