I am highly against Zootopia 2. WiR is one of the few WDAS movies ever that actually felt like it should have a sequel all along, and Frozen 2 was simply unavoidable. But Zootopia 2 seems highly unnecessary. The first doesn't lend well to a sequel and I'm not even convinced it's the kind of hit where a sequel would also be successful. It feels very much like a one and done and I hope WDAS cools it with the sequels. They will lose their regained seating on the throne if they focus on them over originals.

I seriously disagree. They clearly left a door open and a very interesting one : all of these animals are mammals, but what about lizards, crocodiles, snakes, birds? Plus, the city of Zootopia seems huge and far from entirely explored.

Too much mysteries, a sequel is necessary ^_^

Impossible, there are too many things to explore : online gaming, virtual reality and so many characters to use.

Much like the superhero theme made Incredibles ripe for a sequel, so does the gaming theme for WiR. I see nothing about Zootopia that says the story should continue. It is completely and perfectly contained in one film. I can think of at least 20 WDAS films that seem more sequel ready, including Tangled and BH6 from this era.

How about the humongous world that they created for the movie? That's sequel material. Even if you don't want a sequel, I don't see how you can think there isn't potential there.

@Fullbuster

And the reason I think that way about WIR is because Ralph seemed pretty settled at the end of the first movie.

Yassss so happy about this news! And Ralph wrecking the internet is such a clever idea. Although I wish they'd still stick with the video games thing, but we'll see.

I need another Paperman goodness tho lol.

Now bring on Zootopia 2, throw off Frozen 2 out of the woods and then everything will be perfect again.

Judy and Nick fight crime while internally pondering what their relationship could / should be in the face of the predator / prey coexistence social movement. There you go.

And Moore/Howard haven't exactly been trying to quench that fire

BH6 was good, but honestly I've kinda forgotten about it at this point.

It's one of those things where I tried vehemently to like but in the end I have to admit that I don't like it and for me its sorta bad
