I'm glad that our projected BR slayage came true. That first image of Rami did it but trailer sealed the deal. This may be the most literal Yass QUEEN Slay ever in history.

Malek actually does not look like Freddie at all. Couldn't they at least give him brown contact lenses? (An actual question - anybody knows?) It was very distracting.

 

A Baron Cohen movie could have been so much better. (This one was just OKish.)

watched it again yesterday. It was just as good. For me the most emotional scenes are Mary's, she's such a good actress

I liked Lucy Boynton a lot in Sing Street, so it's nice to see her in bigger projects like this & Apostle, even if this just sounds like Walk Hard with no self awareness.

I agree I’m that I think that this is a much better movie than many others think. But hey, critics are entitled to their opinions

 

Only thing I think is that they’re missing out on enjoying a movie as much as I did. But I don’t like some movies as much as they do, so it’ll balance out I guess

Well I definetely agree that the way Rami's sexuality and disease was handled was problematic. Not to the point it spoiled everything for me though. It had too much heart so the aftermouth was kinda good especially after the last 20 mins.
