The way US box office worked in 2016 made a lot of people assume that doing 300-350m dom was a done deal if you had appealing trailers and good/great buzz.

I simply dont believe it because the trailer views for Sing for such a mass, nearly 60m views prior its release, I only see JW, sw7, f7 and several others mega blockbuster did this type of number

Also, we haven't had any updates since early this morning, so we really don't know how close those estimates (ie projections) really were.

Saw Trolls at the dollar theatre yesterday. Cute movie, but the dollar theatre crowd was normal with a crying kid that sounded in pain was asked to leave during the movie.
