Eric Quinn
http://deadline.com/2017/03/get-out-tuesday-box-office-jordan-peele-1202032826/ Quote However, yesterday, rivals show Get Out shooting up an amazing 20% over Monday for an estimated $4.95M. That Tuesday take kills the first Tuesdays of The Purge: Election Year ($4.3M on July 5), Conjuring 2 ($4.8M) and is 32% higher than Split‘s first Tuesday ($3.76M) and 66% higher than Don’t Breathe‘s ($2.98M). Current cume to date for Get Out is an estimated $42.45M, and many say it’s a no brainer that the pic will hit $100M. 2
WrathOfHan
That's a little less than I was expecting. Still a good number.
DAJK
Just cause I was thinking 5.0M doesn't mean that 4.9M is bad. Cue the meltdowns?
Jayhawk the Hutt
Great #, suspected the jump wouldn't be super high after that insane Monday.

stripe
Awesome number It will gross more than 48M in 7 days. No way it grosses less than 20M during its 2nd weekend. Upping my prediction to 22M. 70M in 10 days

Considering Logan and the other March hitters are coming (but especially Logan this weekend), its holds and theater count will drop considerably. Eevin
The worst-case scenario I can see if everything goes wrong is: $3.22m Wednesday (-35%) $2.9m Thursday (-10%) $5.8m Friday (+100%) $7.2m Saturday (+25%) $4.3m Sunday (-40%) which would still get it a $17.3m weekend and ~$61m by Monday. The question isn't if it crosses $100m, but when. $25m+ this weekend is very doable, imho.
Krissykins
Fantastic for Get Out, I was expecting a 10% bump, so 20% is great. Remember it IS a horror film folks.
